Privacy Policy

Updated: April 13, 2026

Ecofrontiers ("Ecofrontiers", "us", "we", or "our") is a part of Ecofrontiers SARL and operates https://ecofrontiers.xyz/ ("website"). This privacy policy will explain how we use the personal data we collect from you when you use our website.

The data we collect

We collect the following data:

  • Email address (when you subscribe to our newsletter or contact us)
  • Subscription timestamp and status (when you joined, whether you are currently subscribed)
  • Email delivery events (opens, bounces, unsubscribes) collected by our email infrastructure provider for operational purposes
  • Anonymised web analytics data (pages viewed, approximate geography, referrer) collected via cookies

We do not collect names, payment information, or wallet addresses through this website unless you explicitly provide them in a form.

How we collect your data

You directly provide us with most of the data we collect when you:

  • Subscribe to our newsletter via the signup form
  • Contact us via email or the inquiry form
  • Visit our website (browser cookies and analytics)

How we use your data

We use your data only for the purpose you provided it:

  • Newsletter subscribers: we use your email to send you our research newsletter and nothing else. We do not sell, rent, trade, or share your email with third parties for marketing purposes.
  • Inquiries: if you email us or submit the contact form, we use your address to respond to you.
  • Analytics: anonymised web traffic data helps us understand which research pieces resonate, debug site issues, and improve the reading experience.

The legal basis for processing newsletter data is your explicit consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)), which you can withdraw at any time by unsubscribing.

Newsletter

When you subscribe to the Ecofrontiers newsletter, we store your email address, the timestamp of your subscription, and your unsubscribe status. We use this data only to send you the newsletter and to confirm delivery.

You can unsubscribe in three ways:

We retain unsubscribed email addresses in a suppression list only long enough to prevent accidental re-subscription. You can request full erasure (GDPR right to erasure) by emailing hello@ecofrontiers.xyz.

Data processors we use

We rely on a small number of third-party processors to operate this website and send the newsletter. Each has their own privacy policy, which we encourage you to review:

We do not share your data with any other third parties for marketing, advertising, or sale.

How we store your data

Newsletter subscriber data is stored by Resend in the EU (eu-west-1) under their security and compliance posture, which includes encryption at rest and in transit. Contact form inquiries are relayed through Formspree to our email inbox and retained there alongside ordinary correspondence. We do not operate a self-hosted database of your personal data.

We keep newsletter subscriber data for as long as you are subscribed, plus a short retention period on unsubscribed addresses to prevent accidental re-subscription. You can request full deletion at any time.
